Do you know the difference between HTTP and HTTPS, or are you just using whichever when linking between websites and searching for them?
HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol.
HTTP is an interpreter of the message sent between a device & the web server when the device requests access to the websites that are stored there.
HTTPS stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure.
HTTPS is an extension of HTTP, the HTTP is still the interpreter of the message between the device and web server but the S, secure, ensures information is encrypted for security reasons. This helps to prevent hacking into the data, so overall a better choice to use.
